Tweets - Another beautiful sunrise and gorgeous day. It started cold (46
degrees), but ended well up in the '70s. And it was birdy.

We did NOT have a Buff-breasted Sandpiper. I've heard no reports of
sightings of the bird since Friday, so it looks like it's definitely moved
on. :( Another great Marymoor bird I've missed (wouldabeenalifer too).

What we did have:

Green Heron In slough near RC dock late
Cooper's Hawk Juvenile stooped, diving into a blackberry bush
Sharp-shined Hawk Over northeast part of lake

Good warbler day, with ORANGE-CROWNED (2+), YELLOW (5+), BLACK-THROATED GRAY
(3+), and TOWNSENDS WARBLERS(1, near start of boardwalk), and several COMMON
YELLOWTHROATS.

Good day for sparrows, with SPOTTED TOWHEE, SAVANNAH (20+), SONG, LINCOLN'S
(8+), WHITE-CROWNED (2 juveniles), and GOLDEN-CROWNED SPARROWS (1), and some
Dark-eyed Juncos.

Had some "summer" birds, including several WILLOW FLYCATCHERS, two WESTERN
WOOD-PEWEE, a WARBLING VIREO or two, perhaps 4 SWAINSON'S THRUSH, and more
than one BLACK-HEADED GROSBEAK. All were silent.

Still hundreds of BARN SWALLOWS, one or two VIOLET-GREEN SWALLOWS, and a
handful of VAUX'S SWIFTS.

Had several maybes - a maybe Kestrel or Merlin, a maybe Olive-sided
Flycatcher, a maybe Western Tanager or two, maybe a gray headed warbler
(Nashville/MacGillivrays), maybe maybe maybe.

We managed to identify about 58 species.
