Tweets!

As walked out onto my front porch a few minutes ago I heard a strange
twittering. I looked up to see 30-40 (maybe more) Vaux's Swifts flying over my house
in Maple Leaf! I ran inside to grab my binocs and by the time I came back out,
they were gone. However, about a minute later and they were back. I am
watching them now (thank goodness for wireless!) although most of them have
disappeared again. More swifts! They are much, much higher now and headed north. There
must be 80-100 of them! I have never seen them in my neighborhood and to have
this many is amazing. They are gone now. Talk about bird magic...
