this evening, as i was headed home from downtown bellevue, i noticed a river
of crows headed southbound along the east side of 405... over five minutes
or so, about 1930, there were at least 150 of them in clumps of 5-10 flying
steadily downstream towards newcastle, all within the same 20-metre-wide
north-south corridor, as if there were strict lane enforcements 50 feet off
the ground...

as i traveled north on 405, their high-occupancy lane went directly through
the heart of the 520/405 interchange, and those seen still north of 520 were
now on the west side of 405...

hmmm... for a while there, i wondered if they were following a ley line
only they could see...
