Tweets,

70 species on Sat am around Tenino, mainly Vantine Rd. 16 went unobserved
just two days earlier, when I recorded 56 on same route. (~80 for both days)
Must've been the ideal time to be out: after pre-dawn showers and before the
next thunder shower. More interesting sightings:
- Purple Martin (2, with LOTS of V-g's)
- Hermit Thrush (1, season 1st)
- Swainson's Thrush
- Fox (Sooty) Sparrow (1, season 1st)
- Ruby-cr Kinglet (~6, season 1st)
- Willow Flyctr (1)
- Possible Hammond's Flyctr heard
- Gray Jay
- Green-w Teal (1, "replacing" Cinnamon of 2 days ago)
- Green Heron (1 imm)
- Sharp-sh Hawk (2, 1 gorgeous male)
- Cassin's Vireo (1, singing energetically for 30 min)
- 7 sparrow-types
- 7 warblers, some in "half-voice"
- ~12 Yellow Warblers: high count for any season. I must have been in the
"fallout zone" as I saw 4 drop out of the sky at 8am. A couple turned up in
my yard during lunch.
Good birding!
