Took a kayak trip down the Columbia reach this afternoon. Lots of American
Pelicans, Great Egrets and good numbers of Gulls, with mostly Ring-billed
and California dominating but did manage to see 2 Glaucous-winged Gull and 1
MEW GULL along the White bluffs area. Also good birds were an adult SABINE'S
GULL flying with 3 California gulls upriver at the Vernita bridge and a
PARASITIC JAEGER about a mile before the white bluffs area. The Sabine's
might be chasable as it was seen very near the bridge.
Good birding.
