Subject: [Tweeters] Possible Northern Waterthrush at Long Beach

This is going to be one of those reports with something to
frustrate everyone.

While doing point counts at Breaker Lake this morning, I heard
a heard but did not see a warbler making repeated fairly rapid
chip notes. I can eliminate all regularly occurring warbler
species. Every other time I've chased down similar sounding
chips, a NORHTERN WATERTHRUSH has been at the other end. The
location was consistant with waterthrush habitat.

The property is not open to the public, so I can't be more
specific about the location. I'm only reporting in the event
that a larger fallout of quasi-rare warblers occurs as was the
case last year....
