Hi Tweets;
Today I noticed a bird in my yard that looks and sounds very
unfamiliar. The bird is quite shy but moves around calling pt-chee with
chee being a lower note. I'm not sure but I think this sound may have
been made by the bird in my photo (?). The bird looks vireo-like but
has stripes on its sides and does not match any of the vireos or
warblers in Sibley's guide. Anyone want to take a look? Unfortunately
the photo is poor quality since it was taken of a bird up in the top of
a Big Leaf maple tree. Any help would be appreciated!
