Last eve had a brief opportunity to look for birds at Discovery Park.
Highlights: a male NASHVILLE WARBLER came bounding out of the treetops
along the loop trail (just uphill of the north parking lot) in response to
pishing, one of four species in a small warbler flock. Two more returning
RUBY-CROWNED KINGLETS were nearby. Along the south meadow trail just uphill
of the sandy/dune area, there was one LAPLAND LONGSPUR.
