I just watched 20-30 or more bushtits bathing at my dripping-faucet birdbath: 6 to 8 simultaneously splashing away in the birdbath, others lining the rim to get in, and still others--already wet and preening busily--atop the adjoining rhodendron shrubbery. Interesting how they do almost everything in such twitchy-close company.
