Hi Tweeters,

This evening there were 15 golden plovers in the
ploughed field at Jensen Access in Skagit County. I
felt confident identifying nine of these birds to
species; four as PACIFIC GOLDEN-PLOVERS and five as
AMERICAN GOLDEN-PLOVERS.

I left the rest of the birds unidentified. When I
left, the Wiggers, Armstrongs, and other birders whose
names escape me, were still examining the flock and
they may have come to different conclusions.

Quite a birdy day, although nothing else too unusual.
What with the SCRUB JAY that's been at my apt. for the
past week, I ended the day at 102 species without
working too hard at it.
