Today while birding at the Lost Island Habitat Management Unit on the Snake River in Franklin County, we flushed 2 Long-eared Owls from Russian Olive thickets. A third bird exited the site, however, we did not get good enough looks to identify it.

Passerine migrant diversity was low, with most of the birds being Yellow-rumped Warblers, White-crowned Sparrows. We were able to turn up a handful of Orange-crowned Warblers, Lincoln's, Savannah and Vesper Sparrow,
several Townsend's Solitaires and lastly a Prairie Falcon.

Good Birding-
