Hi Gang

I saw four Hooded Mergansers in the Golden Gardens Pond this morning, cute
little things. Don't know if they were male or female, adults or juveniles.
They all had "female" characteristics with varying degrees of a crest,
from almost none to well formed. They looked small too, considerably
smaller than the mallards.
