Last week I spent five minutes watching a Scrub Jay at the forest edge
on the Green River Community College campus in Auburn. I was waiting
for someone and heard the Scrub Jays for at least a minute before it
registered that I was hearing Scrub Jays and not Steller's, which of
course sound quite different--I use the plural because even though I
only saw one, from the raucous vocalizing I am pretty sure there were at
least two present.

So in the last few weeks we've had posts about Scrub Jays in Seattle,
Tacoma, Nisqually, Orting, Auburn, etc.; I wonder if there have been any
spotted further north?
