Hi Tweets:
On Sunday Sept. 25th while birding the Skagit Game Range WMA, Mike West and I came upon other birders looking for the Northern Waterthrush. After the group left we continued to look for the bird on the east trail. About 12:20 pm the waterthrush flew in to perch and bob in tree just north of the area where originally reported. I was playing the NOWA's song on the minidisc at the time. We placed a gray stone on the west side of the path to mark "the spot" which is south of the conifer tree where Northern Saw-whet Owls have been known to perch.
