I will admit to being one of Connie's fans, but beyond that, I think Connie
was careful to preface her post in such a way as to warn off any
uninterested parties. She is already following a "rule" that should be
sufficient to satisfy her fans as well as placate the rest.

Many birders are also readers (tho apparently not all!). Let us read this
stuff, please.
