I watched the Clay-colored Sparrow from 5:45-6:15pm today in the low
brush/gravel between the large sand pile and the parking lot (see Michael
Hobbs earlier post). The bird was largely feeding on the ground, but would
occasionally perch up. Most of the time I was less than 12ft away from the
bird!
