Yesterday while driving on Hwy 17 (along East Foster Creek) about half way between Leahy Junction and Bridgeport a northern pygmy-owl came swooping down and snatched something off the road right in front of me. I had to slam the brakes on because I thought I was going to hit it. It came from a farm house along the road and certainly made my morning!
