Hi Tweeters,

Last week I wasn't able to get out much but did add
yet another species to my area list, a Hermit Thrush.
Only noted once and I'm guessing just passing through.
The Anna's Hummers are still chasing, singing, and
chattering in groups of at least 3. They have finally
molted in most of their head feathers so are becoming
gorgeous. The Western Grebes are still around, as
many as three. What a nice addition to my walks. In
the early morning one or two can be quite close in at
the Sakuma Viewpoint Park. The yellow-billed one was
very close yesterday and easy to see the usual Western
pattern, gotta wonder about that bill though.

This week Mon 24th through today 30th, from Sakuma
Viewpoint Park, near Agua Verde restaurant to the
Montlake bridge:

Canada Goose
Gadwall
American Wigeon
Mallard
Pied-billed Grebe
