hi tweeters- i feel a need to elaborate my email-not just a boring list,so....any ways today there are still ~?100 BBP at tne spit at tulalip bay- w/ them were the some of the variety of protected? others spp-1 red knot, 1 dunlin + 4 western sandpipers-yesterday, i saw 4 dunlins up at port susan w/ the crowd of dowitchers, dozen or so greater yellow legs + ? 6-8 lesser yellow legs-there was still 1- SHARPTAIL SANDPIPER-last w/end we saw 5- it really stands out w/ all the other shorebirds -even in the side ways rain yesterday-there were small flocks of western s/p-s-the rain had them all flying about a lot -hard to count.- i beleive sept. is early for dunlins , but do they have a calendar?
