Thanks for the info. I went over the First Ave S
bridge this afternoon and can confirm that the
bird is indeed a Peregrine Falcon...right where
you saw it.

Anyone looking for it should take the first exit
after passing over the bridge southbound, then
double-back to the 2nd Ave and SW Michigan int.
(good looks from just east of there).

It looks to be an ad. (F. p. pealei?). No sign of
a mate. Does anyone know if Peregrines have nested
at this site in prior years?
