I birded the Covington/Maple Valley/Hobart/Issaquah area today while out
looking for a new more rural home. While out inspecting a house on the
Issaquah Hobart Road just north of the Cedar Grove Road I observed a flyover
of about 30 Sandhill Cranes headed north headed for the gap between Tiger
and Squak Mtns in Issaquah flying quite high - maybe 1000 feet or so above
the valley
floor.

Also this morning here in Newcastle we had 4 Turkey Vultures soaring along
the edge of the golf course.
