In spite of impending weather, took a trip down WA-105 yesterday.
Westport to Lewis Unit of Willapa NWR...

Weather: In & out of rain all day. Lots of sunshine in afternoon.
Temps stayed in high 40's to mid-50's

At Grays Beach SP - Very very windy.

Birds Seen:

1 Common Loon (Smith Creek, Willapa Bay)
9 Western Grebes (Tokeland, Westport Marina)
19 Double-Crested Cormorants (Westhaven SP, Westport Marina,
Lewis Unit, Tokeland)
2 Great Blue Herons (Smith Creek, Willapa Bay)
100 Canada Geese (Smith Creek, Willapa Bay)
3 Lesser Scaup (Tokeland)
6 Surf Scoters (Tokeland, North Cove)
1 Red-Breasted Merganser (Tokeland)
1 Common Merganser (Tokeland)
1 Northern Harrier (Grays Beach SP)
1 Sharp-Shinned Hawk (Woods north of Raymond, US101)
1 Red-Tailed Hawk (Woods north of Raymond, US101)
4 Short-Billed Dowitchers (Tokeland)
200-300 Marbled Godwits (Tokeland)
~350 Sanderlings (Grays Beach SP, on the beach)
6 Dunlin (Tokeland, mixed in with the M Godwits)
29 Herring Gull (Westhaven SP)
5 Caspian Terns (Grays Beach SP, Tokeland)
3 Northwestern Crow (Westhaven SP)
