Hi--
This afternoon, Henry Noble and I saw about 5 pairs of Harlequin Ducks at
Emma Schmitz Viewpoint/Park, a bit south of the Aliki Lighthouse. It was
great. From a bench by the side of the water, we could watch close-in
views of Harlequins feeding in the surf, Barrow's Goldeneyes, more than a
hundred Brants, Red Breasted Mergansers, Surf Scoters and others. Also a
Common Loon nearby.
