No sightings for Wednesday, April 5th


Sightings for Tuesday, April 4th:

The PAINTED BUNTING continues to be seen daily at the feeder of 906
Damelart Way, Brentwood Bay, Vancouver Island. For further
information on this bird, please call the Victoria RBA at (250) 592-
3381.

At Burnaby Mountain Park in Burnaby, 1 TOWNSEND'S SOLITAIRE
was near the playground.

A MARBLED GODWIT and 4 late TUNDRA SWANS were observed at the Reifel
Refuge in Delta.

A drumming RUFFED GROUSE was heard in Campbell Valley Park in
Langley.


No sightings for Monday, April 3rd


Sightings for Sunday, April 2nd:

The basic plumaged CLARK'S GREBE continues in the Fraser River
between the Westham Island Bridge and the west end of River Road
in Delta.

2 GREEN HERONS were at Fishtrap Creek in Abbotsford.

7 SANDHILL CRANES were seen at the Crane Reserve in Pitt Meadows.

2 TOWNSEND'S SOLITAIRE were observed at the Maplewood Conservation
Area in North Vancouver, as well as the arrival OSPREY.

6 GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GEESE were at the Reifel Refuge, Delta


Sightings for Friday, March 31st:

At Brunswick Point, the CLARK'S GREBE with 11 WESTERN GREBES was
present in the Fraser River, seen from the dyke at the end of River
Road. Nearby were 6 SNOWY OWLS, 3 EURASIAN WIGEONS, and 1 hybrid
AMERICAN x EURASIAN WIGEON.

At Westham Island Bridge, 4 MUTE SWANS were seen. In a field along
33A Ave, a WESTERN MEADOWLARK was present.

At Boundary Bay at the foot of 72nd St, 3 SNOWY OWLS were present
along the foreshore. Also here were 12 SAVANNAH SPARROWS.

In north Langley, the first NORTHERN ROUGH-WINGED SWALLOW of the
year was seen.


Sightings for Thursday, March 30th:

At Boundary Bay, 4 SNOWY OWLS were seen along the foreshore at the
foot of 72nd Street
.

No sightings for Wednesday, March 29th


Sightings for Tuesday, March 28th:

At Colony Farm, a male MOUNTAIN BLUEBIRD was seen from the Port
Coquitlam side near the central Hydro tower.
