Subject: [Tweeters] seward park parrots

whilst being dragged by the two canines, we happened to have been heckled by
two of the seward park parrots as they were being jovial and/or
argumentative at a feeder near 48th and hudson (about a mile or so from
seward park)... according to the owners of the feeder, these two
rapscallions are boisterous and hungry whenever they hit the feeder...

they also claim there were a larger troupe in years past, that only five or
so are known to come to this feeder (which might lead one to believe there
are fewer parrots left from the original numbers)...

anyone know what the troupe strength is, and the trend in total numbers from
years past? this was the first i'd actually seen them, and it was an
enjoyable experience...
