Hello all,

This is my first time posting at this site. Got to
Nisqually today at 4:15 pm. Saw the following, in no
particular. Also, there may have been some
misidentifications.

tree swallows
violet-green swallows
yellow-rumped swallow
audobon's swallow (or is that the same thing?)
yellow-crowned sparrows
marsh wrens (two of them fighting over a mate)
ring-necked ducks
green winged teal (male)
lesser scaup
common mergansers
northern pintails
american wigeons
mallards
american bitterns (thanks to 3 tourists from
Michigan?)
pied billed grebes
red winged blackbirds
blacked-capped chickadees (St. Francis moment
included)
Bald Eagles
Bewiks Wren
Marsh Harriers
Western Grebes
Lesser Scaups
Wood Duck (solitary male)
Norther Shovelers
buffleheads
hooded mergansers
sharp-shinned hawk [wait, that was Capital Lake
yesterday]

and to finish off the list,

common goldeneyes an song sparrows

perhaps there were a few species missed (e.g. robins,
crows, ravens)

Happy birding!
