I was able to access the site using Netscape 7.1. The site is mostly
in Russian but with enough text in English to figure out how to sign
on to the petition. I'm skeptical as to how much attention President
Putin pays to environmentalists from Seattle -- probably about as
much as Bush does -- but it sure doesn't hurt to try... Lake Baikal
truly is a "special" place, not to mention being the namesake of one
of the coolest ducks on two wings!
