I just discovered a Bewick's Wren is nesting in one of my
wife's decorative bird houses on our back deck. She has a
bunch of them hanging all around, as women are wont to do.
I have had to modify most of them to make them suitable bird
abodes. Usually one or more species will occupy one or the
other of them each year. Last year, it was Chickadees.
This year, Wrens. We have also had Nuthatches and Juncos.
The Juncos and Robins go for the hanging flower baskets
though.
