This may be old news to some of you, but when I drove out toward Wenas campground yesterday, I found the road in toward the campground (Audubon Rd.) to be closed with a new looking, locked gate at least half a mile before the turn into the campground. A posted sign says a new management scheme of the timber company, with the cooperation of the state Fisheries and Wildlife and others, will keep the area closed off to entry from Dec. 1 - May 1.
