Tuesday there were two turkeys along Farm to Market Road outside
the fence of the Paccar faciliity. Common Loons and Red-breasted
Merganzers were in Padilla Bay.

The tulips are at full blast so the traffic is heavy with lots of whackos.

Today one flock of snowgeese was at the end of Thomle Road south of
Stanwwod and two more flocks were a bit further south along Marine
View Drive. Last year the last I saw them was 4/10 so they probably
won't be around much longer.

There was a small flock of Brown-headed Cowbirds along Norman
Road, maybe a dozen or so. Last spring A Junco at my feeder was
ferrying food from the feeder to a Cowbird juvy nearly twice its size.
Junco, don't you get it?!

Lots of ducks in the flooded fields, including Shovelers, which I don't
recall seeing in the Stilly valley before; lots of Greenwinged Teal, an
army of American Wigeon marching up a pasture hillside from the pond.

Thousands of gulls were cleaning up after the farmers.
