I had the first PINE SISKINS of the winter at our place on Mt.
Pleasant, Skamania Count, on Easter when three of these birds appeared at
our thistle feeder. Two bright male GOLDEN-CROWNED SPARROWS also were new
for the spring. Finally some birds are starting to move through.
