11:58 start - water level low and dropping with all mudflats visible
(high tide - 7:18 (10.1); low tide - 14:53 (-1.2))
12:40 end

Tweeters,
Light air from the south, thin clouds overhead, and lots of sunshine at
Turning Basin #3. Of the 13 ducklings I saw the other day, 11 are still
with us (most likely the same group). Two adult Canada geese with five
goslings toured the west/south sides of TB3.

Bird of the Day: It was tough to see against the sunlight, but I believe
the Cliff Swallows have returned to the Boeing bridge -- I saw at least
eight of them coursing around and under the bridge. (Barn swallows are
unlikely--these birds were light underneath.)

Birds seen during this scan:

Canada Goose (12 incl. 5 goslings)
Gadwall (2)
Mallard (17 incl. 11 ducklings)
Bufflehead (10)
Common Goldeneye
Western Grebe (2)
Double-crested Cormorant (11, incl. 10 foraging together)
Great Blue Heron
Osprey (2; one at Hamm Creek, one in the Boeing parking lot)
Red-tailed Hawk (being dive-bombed by a crow)
Killdeer
Mew Gull (14)
Glaucous-winged Gull (12)
Rock Pigeon (42 incl. 30 in one flock that flew past)
