Hi Tweeters:
The site Manager for GRNRA (Kent Ponds) has been pumping out the water in
the main lagoon to offer mud for possible shorebirds. The mud is supposed
to be showing now, and has been showing for at least two days. It might be
viewable from the South Tower, which you can access from the Powerline
Trail. Drive west from 64th Ave S to S 54th St. Turn right and park at the
deadend of S 54th St, walk out to the PL Trail, and look
to the right (east). You will see the South Tower. You also can view north
from the fence along the trail itself.
I have not been able to get down to GRNRA (Kent Ponds) yet this month, but
will try today or tomorrow.
