I made a fairly quick circuit of Marymoor today and things were pretty birdy despite the place being overrun by dogs. I didn't see anything unusual but it was nice to be out. There several big pockets of warblers - almost all Yellow-rumped (Audubon's and Myrtle) but also several singing Common Yellowthroats and one Orange Crowned Warbler (also singing). There was one (quiet) Hermit Thrush near the dog swimming areas mixed in with WC, GC and a couple of Savanna Sparrows. I saw a Red-breasted Sapsucker near the boardwalk as well as at least two Downy WP's. I saw my first Barn Swallows of the season at Marymoor flying over the fields by the compost heap. There were two Belted Kingfisher's making lots of noise near near the boardwalk. The Osprey were active as were the Bald Eagles over the lake. Then I had to head back home to take care of kids. ;)
