The Mt Bluebird reported on Wednesday by Brad Waggoner and later in the
week by the Sullivans, was observed this morning by Pipper and I. It was
pearched on a weathered root mass, about 100' south of the Hansville Store, on
the beach, in front of the three weathered beach cabins. It gave us good looks
despite a fairly stiff Northwind. Also, out by the Point-No-Point
Lighthouse, about 30 American Pipits were on the beach, along with a lone American
Kestral in the small trees just off the trail leading south from the lighthouse.
Good Spring birding,
