It was a beautiful if somewhat blustery day for the Yakima Valley

Audubon Field Trip to the Yakama Indian Reservation and the Toppenish

National Wildlife Refuge on Sunday.



With the drought over and lots of water flowing out of Toppenish

Creek the birdibg was good.



Highlights include SANDHILL CRANE seen along Pumphouse Rd. with an

Eurasian Wigeon sitting among literally hundreds of American Wigeon.

BLACK-NECKED STILTS and LONG-BILLED CURLEW are always a treat and

WILSON'S SNIPE were winnowing everywhere.
