Subject: [Tweeters] Solitary Sandpiper near Pullman;

A single Solitary Sandpiper was delicately foraging late this afternoon,
thigh-deep at the edge of a small temporary pond at SR27 and Viola (Sand)
Rd. N of Pullman, as two Killdeers obligingly strolled nearby for size
comparison. Sunday last, a goodly number of White-throated Swifts soared
and sang in high breeze above the cliffs of Hole-in-the-Ground, W of Pine
City. Several Rock Wrens were also singing there, although only one was
seen closely.
