Hello all,
On our weekly Bennington Lake walk (just east of Walla Walla) this morning
we enjoyed a few new arrivals:
Vaux's Swift
Spotted Sandpiper
Chipping Sparrows - in several spots
Calliope Hummingbird - just one
Other birds of note: 1 Brewer's Sparrow, several pipit flyovers, Great
Horned Owls on nest with young, still just one House Wren. Bufflehead and N.
Shoveler and Wigeon on the lake.

And over the weekend the Nashville Warblers came back to Scenic Loop Drive.
This puts our County year list up to 166. Still looking for Cinnamon &
Blue-winged Teal, Western Kingbird, Yellowlegs.
Later, ML
