Tweets - eleven of us met at 6:30 this morning four our walk. It wasn't too
bad at the start, but it got colder, cloudier, and windier as the morning
went on. It felt almost winterish again. The birding cooled down with the
temperatures, but we did manage some good birding anyway.

Highlights:

Mallard First ducklings - 3 at Rowing Club
Osprey Seem to have settled on using new
platform
Band-tailed Pigeon Brian had 2 fly by early
Mourning Dove 1 flew over the Dog Meadow
VAUX'S SWIFT First 2 of 2006
Cliff Swallow First of 2006, a small number over lake
Hermit Thrush Several, plus *maybe* a Swainson's
American Robin Found 2 nests
O.-crowned Warbler ~5, maybe more, a couple seen pretty well
Y.-rumped Warbler Maybe 100 or more, mostly male Audubons
White-crowned Sparrow Still at least 1 or 2 singing gambelii

For the morning, 62 species.
