Phyllis Kind spotted and I confirmed a male Tufted Duck on the ponds at
Deer Lagoon, Whidbey Island at about 9:00 a.m. this morning. It was
easily seen by looking west from the western dike. The Tufted Duck was
hanging around loose flocks of Lesser Scaups and Ring-necked Ducks.
