Is anyone writing to the newspapers or contacting the media? Seems
this needs to be publicized immediately, not limited to private
communications. Anybody have any media contacts who would be likely
to give this press or TV coverage? Feel free to contact me privately
to do some strategizing.

I'm not the most well-versed person to write or talk about the
effects on specific species, but I can write and speak well, and I've
done community organizing before. I'm willing to take this on if
nobody steps up who's better-informed.
