Here is an update on what is going on in the LHG in Bellevue.
American Pipit - 3 appeared in field north of SE 16th on 4/27 - 6 were seen on 4/29
Brewer's Blackbird - 4 on 4/27 in same field, none on 27th
The first Yellow-rumped Warblers were seen on 4/8 and are still present.
Rufous Hummingbirds were first seen on 4/8.
Virginia Rail are heard regularly at Phantom L.
1 Cedar Waxwing appeared on 4/19 and hasn't been reported since.
Barn Swallows and Violet-green Swallows are seen every day, a few Tree Swallows on one day and one Rough- winged Swallow.
A couple of Lincoln's Sparrows and a few Savannah Sparrows have been seen.
Common Yellowthroats have shown up.
There are at least two Bushtit nest that have been found.
There are two Red-tailed Hawk nests in the greenbelt with adults on the nests. One is near Phantom L. and one near Larsen L.
An occupied Hutton's Vireo nest has been monitored all month. On the 25th, two baby's beaks could be seen
2 Wilson's Snipe were seen on two different days.
