Just for the record, I saw two Baird's Sandpipers at fairly close range at Padden Lagoon this past Monday, April 24 '06. I reported it on the "Whatcombirds" list site, but have not received any response from that group. I'll drop a report in the mail to "Washington Field Notes" tomorrow.
