I have Green Herons in my backyard, which happens to be a native growth
protected area in south Everett along Swamp Creek. I don't see them
frequently but at least once or twice a year. The last time was about a
week ago when one was perched in a dead tree visible from my balcony.

Good to hear. I have been wondering about Green Heron
numbers in Washington this summer. I have only seen one
bird and that was in May in the NE area of Olympia.

Have others been seeing them?
