the latest installment of avian photos from europe include a mute swan, a
pair of black swans (separated by about 60 miles) in the heart of bretagne
(and therefore, a long way from home), jackdaws, grey wagtails, and
black-headed gulls (not bonaparte's as i'd originally thought)... as well,
other pics are on display (churches, dogs, scenery, others) if you have an
interest... there are 44 images currently in the Photos of the Month
gallery, of which 10 are as recent as about 7-8 days...

the calendar section has also been updated with a nice shot of a long-billed
curlew from jetty island (near everett, washington) last summer...
