After reading Michael Hobbs' report of an American Coot at Marymoor, thought
I'd mention that we saw a single adult American Coot at Juanita Bay Park
back on 18 July, the first we'd seen since they all left this spring; have
seen the adult a few more times since then. The past few days I've been
regularly seeing a single juvenile Coot out feeding among the lily pads.

Several Green Herons continue to be regularly seen at a variety of locations
in the park, mostly juveniles.

We saw two adult Western Grebes back in early-mid July but none since then.
