Hi Tweets,

The bird activity off of Point no Point has picked-up recently. The morning
out-going tide sequence should be good for the next week. Bonaparte's Gulls
have returned in good numbers and there were a sprinkling of Common Terns,
Red-necked Phalaropes, and alcids (mostly rhinos) this morning.
Unfortunately I missed a few of the goodies in my short viewing this
morning. Vic Nelson had a juvenile Black Tern and a juvenile Sabine's Gull.

The shorebird activity has been rather slow on the north-end of the Kitsap
Peninsula so far this season. However, last weekend I had a juvenile Baird's
Sandpiper and a juvenile Semipalmated Sandpiper at the Foulweather Bluff
Nature Preserve. I can't let the Sullivan's hog all the fun with
Semipalmated Sandpipers!

Cheers and good birding,
