Hello All,
This AM we had a family trot around Bennington Lake and observed the
following sights of interest.......

We located an adult Western Wood-Pewee still setting on the nest high in a
black cottonwood. This is a late date in this county. We also located two
three day old Killdeer chicks along the shoreline. Good luck to them as the
shoreline is crawling with Bull Frogs! We also observed 30+ Vaux's Swifts
dipping down above the lakes surface and skimming along getting drinks of
water on this very warm morning. That's it.
