Hi everyone,
The surviving Bald eagle is doing well, but has turned out to be quite the whiner, and is noisy all day long. They tend to stay in our area, and we see the "baby" circle over head several times a day. It has even landed in our neighbors Koi pond, which has the fine netting over part of it; making a lot of noise and horrifying the neighbors whose Koi have been so tame, they can be picked up and petted. I don't think that the Eagle was trying to fish, since it was seen sitting in the shallow area. It was promptly chased out before it could bathe, or eat any Koi. The fish are now properly 'spooked' and staying in the deep part of the pond, and want nothing to do with being petted at all now (were talking an 8,000 gallon pond).

At any rate this is one healthy bird, and that makes me happy!
