Hi all,

I took a look at my old field notes and scrounged up a personal record of
a flock of 25 seen in the mid-morning near Hood Canal back on August 1,
1987. It sure astounded me back then!

For perspective, the Common Nighthawk account in Birds of Washington by
Wahl et al. mentions high counts of migrants (on the west side) as 25 and
24 both on August 3rd, 1997 (Shelton) and 1999 (Silverdale), respectively.
